Where did you grow up?
Massachusetts
Why did you become a doctor and why did you choose your specialty?
I've always had a passion for helping others and medicine felt like the perfect area to pursue. I have always been drawn to working with the pediatric population. I enjoy getting to meet patients and their families.
How long have you practiced in the Washington, DC area and what do you like most about it?
I began working in the Washington, DC area in the fall of 2018. I recently moved to the area and love exploring the diversity, history and food!
What do you most enjoy doing outside of your clinical practice, when you’re not working?
Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my husband and family, traveling, exploring new places, golfing and getting to the beach when I can.
Do you volunteer? If so, where?
I have volunteered with Special Olympics for the last 14 years.
If you weren’t a doctor, what profession would you most likely be doing and why?
Although it has always been my dream to be a PA and I am loving every minute, if I was not a physician assistant I would most likely be teaching special education or working in event planning.
